EARTH

Indiscriminate predator,

Volatile I harp for the day my pet on your mandatory mat.

Inevitable lurker,

Are not these melons and corns from your pores?

Bacons and porks in the pots?

Fossilized decays of centuries I chew,

Heterotrophic in the chain.

Hollow oesophagus,

Funnel to my innards – latrine

Decades augur your spill on the earth’s rug.

Pusillanimous sissy at the cast of predecessors,

I marvel,

How in your seismic yawn grilled

Their prestige into legacies.

Only relics and cenotaphs I see,

Sculpted on the roads.

How solvent will I to placate your

Palate with colossal plates?

I rack tenaciously but in fainting amnesia

Of the nominal chronicles serene in your millpond.

Why these magnetic forces still retard our fatigue?

An echo that a muddy mound we are?

Giddy troubadour on my flimsy legs I plead!

“Edumare” let not my pace the day the earth yearns for preys.
