I look at the rainbow
Colours sparkling across brow
My mouth aghast speaks surprised
My eyes eying eye appalled.
My legs, stagnant, earth magnetized
I stand amidst surprising winds of the east
My voice flabbergasted, voices synthesized
Of a wonder hanging on the sky of the west.
If it should like rain rain
I shall like earth earth it
If it as morning dew should reign
I shall with calmness absorb it.
By the colours of my rainbow, your rainbow
Our rainbow, though nature isn’t ours
My joy shall then as green grass grow
My heart shall then joy for hours.
The manifold manifestation of nature, our nature
Are enlivening entertainments for our heart to nurture.
